The Mayne Island community is proud to host a Farmer’s Market featuring home-grown, home-made and hand-made products. At the Market you will find agricultural produce such as: vegetables, fruit, eggs, meat, fresh flowers, jams/jellies, plants, lamb's wool, goat's milk and cheese, etc There is always a changing pageant of seasonal offerings.

Plan on having lunch at the market! Deacon Vale Farm offers a tasty meal (home made sausages, hot beef sandwiches, salmon burgers, etc.). Come early though because we always sell out of our food!

The primary purpose of the maket is to forge a closer bond between people and the food they eat. The market was started to encourage and develop an awareness of local agriculture, art's and craft's, and to provide a direct sales outlet for locally produced goods and to provide an atmosphere that encourages community interaction.

The market is located at the Agricultural Hall Grounds in Miners Bay on Mayne Island.

The Farmer’s Market is open Saturdays, July through October, from 10 am – 1pm.
